Linden Lab Meetup at SL12B Event

This morning I attended a Linden Lab Meet up event for Premium Members in Second Life.  It was like a SLebrity Who's Who gathering. There were about 10 Lindens who were in attendance at some point throughout the long event. Here is a list of the Lindens I managed to see:  Xiola, Oz, Michael, Torley, Shaman, Patch, Vitae, Brett, Alexa and Simon.  I also saw my friends Bock McMillan, Tomais Ashdene, Kharisa Indigo, and Ziggy Starsmith.  At one point the sim was busy with about 80 avatars on the region.  The small island was packed.  My computer seemed to handle the load quite well and the longer I was there, the better conditions were in seeing most avatars fully rezzed as you can see from my photos below.

This is Torley Linden, but you probably figured that out.

Boots Beach Has a New Address

Regular followers of my blog will know that Boots Beach holds a special place in my Second Life.  When I first arrived in SL, this was where I used to hang out with all the "Beach Bums"  It is also where I met my early mentors JakeC Hotshot and Eddi Haskell.

Markus has managed to keep the beach going strong with parties and shops and yes you can still just hang out around the camp fire.  A few weeks ago the beach moved and I wanted to share with you the new landmark.  There have been a few changes, but you will still find the same welcoming space that people have come to know and love.   Grab this surf board and go check it out -- http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Gay%20Fun%20Beach/74/38/21

Boots Beach

Boots Beach is a great place to chill or party it up with friends.  It has a longstanding history in Second Life for being one of the original gay friendly places in SL.  It is the place where Rocky first discovered the SL gay community and was mentored by some wonderful friends.  Visitors have been on the decline and they are trying to get the word out.  Support them with a visit.  They have some small shops there too.
