Earlier today I came across this wiki put together by a professor at NMSU. Apparently the university has a presence in SL too. It offers a lot of tips and resources, but the one that I was attracted to is the page can be found under the Places to Visit. There I found a list called the SL Register of Historic Places. Now I wish I had more time to explore these places. It's a good starting point for anyone interested in exploring these kinds of places.
