Why do i always cringe when I see someone blog, chat, or write about Linden Lab(s), the company that created Second Life? People there is no letter 's' after the word Lab. /me takes a deep breath to calm himself.

I think it's just that people consider "the Lindens" plural and Linden Lab or whatever, as interchangeable, so it makes sense they would make that mistake. I have my own pet grammar peeves. I cannot stand that people say "an history". It's just wrong. The "H" in history is not silent or even soft. I don't know where that came from but it bugs the shit out of me. So I can relate. I'm uptight an and anally retentive also.
But really, Linden Lab just sounds stupid. I prefer Linden Labs. They should change the name.
